Classes will be held as usual this Sunday! Weekday class will not be held and will start up again on Tuesday, Dec. 13th.

THE CLASSES

Drop in to weekly classes! Group Queer Body Pilates classes center queer and trans folx. However, you don't need to claim these identities to attend Sunday QBP classes.

 

All sessions will include verbalized anatomical information and guiding imagery. In-person sessions will also include offerings of consensual touch and props to provide additional support and feedback.

QBP WEEKLY GROUP CLASSES

Tuesdays 7:45-8:30pm ET on Zoom (for LGBTQ+) ($5-35) 

Sundays 9-9:50am ET on Zoom ($12-35)

Sundays 10-11am ET in person at bodycraft studio ($25)

Love and liberate yourself with some self care in motion! This dynamic Contemporary Pilates class is open to movers of all levels seeking a rigorous yet low-impact workout. Often described by participants as "slow, deep, fun, and sweaty," this class will get you feeling connected, centered, and expansive from the inside out. Sofia's methodology is grounded in anatomy, joy, curiosity, and anti-oppressive frameworks. If you are navigating chronic pain, find traditional exercise modalities boring, or need some inner strengthening in addition to your existing routine, this practice may be your antidote. Come play with props, warm your core, stretch, strengthen, and stabilize.

No registration (except this one-time liability waiver/intake form to be completed before your first session); just show up (pay to @freeskewl on Venmo or contact me for alternative methods)!

Have a Yoga Block (or stack of books) and 1-3lbs weights (or cans of soup/beans) on hand.

A NOTE ON COST:

Each class has a unique sliding scale. The low end of the sliding scale is intended for those pre/post-op, BIPOC, and those without a financial safety net who couldn't otherwise access Pilates.

The high end is for those who are able to invest such resources into this exchange, supporting QBP and subsidizing classes for those who need to pay less.

Please be honest about what you can afford.
